Build with us!
We are not currently working on a new home, but we regularly add volunteer opportunities to work on smaller projects, like recycling a Habitat Home or doing repairs for our Critical Home Repair clients. Continue to check back and see what projects we have going on.
Minimum construction volunteer age is 16. 16- and 17-year olds must be accompanied by an adult.
We need volunteers at the ReStore!
Help at the ReStore by working alongside our staff to bring in donated items, stock the sales floor, revamp displays, and be an extra set of hands to help our ReStore accomplish its goals. We keep usable materials out of the landfill, provide low-cost home improvement goods to our community, and use the stores profits to build more affordable homes in Anchorage. Minimum ReStore volunteer age is 13. 13- to 15-year olds must be accompanied by an adult.
Get involved in the Make It Classroom!
Teach, learn, or make something with us in our new space located inside of the ReStore. Join our creative community today by assisting in a workshop, or coming in to repair, refinish, and repurpose salvages materials for us to sell at the store. There is always something new going on in our classroom, and we love to get fresh perspectives to keep the creative ideas flowing.
