Yes! Anyone and everyone should shop and donate at Habitat for Humanity ReStore Anchorage.

Where do proceeds from the sales go?

All proceeds go directly to Habitat for Humanity, to build homes with hard-working families in Anchorage.

How are the items priced ?

Most items are typically priced 30-50% off of average retail value. We do extensive research online to make sure the prices are low but fair. Remember, each purchase of these donated items helps create safe and stable housing for those who need it.

Does the ReStore accept personal checks?

No.  The store gladly accepts, cash, credit cards and debit cards, but no checks.

Can I return an item I bought?

Yes. However, we only issue store credit for returns and you must have your receipt to complete that return. Our policy allows returns up to seven business days after initial purchase for large appliances and three business days for all other items.

I found an item I like but it's too big to take home today. Can I still buy it?

Only purchased items too large to fit into a customer's vehicle (as determined by ReStore staff) will be placed in a ReStore holding area for customer pickup. Items will remain on hold for ONE business day from the time of purchase. Two business days after the date of purchase, the unclaimed item(s) will be forfeit and considered donated to ReStore and returned to the sales floor to be available for purchase. No refunds or exchanges will be given for purchased items left on hold for more than one business day.

Can I place an unpayed for item on hold or layaway?

We do not hold items unless they are paid for.
